Gloucestershire BASICS are proud to have been awarded a Chief Officer commendation for exemplary actions beyond the call of duty for the benefit of others by Great Western Ambulance at a cermony on 24th February 2009.
Dr Andy Simpson can be seen here (second from left) receiving our commendation.
Training
We had an excellent days training at Filton under the critical eye of Dr Phil Cowburn, see pictures below for the very realistic scenarios set up to practice on.
